Gay marriage. |

LeRoy and I just returned from visiting family in Philadelphia. We went to see the Liberty Bell, and I am truly inspired. On the bell it quotes Leviticus:
"Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof." This is meant to be about
everyone, no matter who you are. It's become apparent to me that being anti-gay is also being anti-God (and evidently it's also anti-American). Being
anti-God is being against Jesus; I can't be against Jesus. The Lord must've created the gays for a reason, and I say God bless them!
If this is too progressive a stance for this ministry, tell me so and I will take my leave.
Yours in Christ

Sapphire Q Jones wrote:I suppose that's up to the Tribunal, Sapphire. All this mainstreaming (including marriage) is having a deleterious effect on the gays. They were so much more interesting and freewheeeling in the 70s. Now, they are a bunch of married bobsey twins presenting awards to their favorite gay-tolerant celebs. Can we say "un-fabulous". |

He always says that GAYS should be "as MISERABLE as the REST of us!"

Perhaps Jesus created the gays for the fashion industry, men you can feel safe around and enjoy "girl talk" with, and hair stylists. But that
doesn't mean that He wants them to have gay homosexualist activity with each other.

There was a pastor back in Iowa who wouldn't even marry the elderly or infirm, because
marriage is "only for procreational purposes!" He would
even make couples provide samples! I do hope that the Christian backlash against homsexualist marriage doesn't lead to that (I had hoped to remarry one day!)!

As Reverend Matthew has pointed out, if it is legalized, we open the door to all sorts of other perversions. Child marriage, polygamy, and marrying animals
will be next. Where would it stop?

Mrs. Jones, we are not ones to turn others away for their misguided beliefs. | ||

If we had our KJV1611 handy, we'd quote you the appropriate book and verse. Unfortunately, this afternoon, when we landed here in Las Vegas (for the Deaf
Senior's annual convention, where we shall give the Benediction tomorrow afternoon), our bags landed in New Jersey, with our well-worn, iron-bound copy
stored snugly within (the godless FAA considers it a weapon, and will not allow us to bring it aboard as carry-on). But this time, to make matters worse, we
cannot even find a copy of the Gideon bible in our room at the Paris Hotel, however we did find a copy of the depraved
Book of Mormonists, substituting for a broken couch leg. It's as though the French proprietors of this epic monstrosity are mocking True Christian
Americans. Well, we shall give our audience an earful at tomorrow's benediction. Mess with True Christians, and there shall be consequences; so sayeth the
Lord!
(The same goes for you, U.S. Air!) |

Sapphire Q Jones wrote:You state that being anti-gay is being anti-christian, but the bible tells us that living having sex with the same sex is a sin, so either one is for the bible or one is for your stance. My father is a minister, and always told me that it was a sin to hate gay people, but it wasn't a sin to call their sin a sin. So to make it plain, one may hate the sin but still live the sinner.
